Pacific Child and Family Associates values each employee and
their efforts tremendously.
We initially train all of our employees,
unless they have received similar training elsewhere. We all receive
regular and frequent supervision, and our staff receive ongoing in-service
training.

We have full-time and part-time positions
available. All positions require:
Employees are considered full-time if they are
working over 30 hours per week. Full-time employees receive the following

We are actively recruiting for the following positions:
Behavior Therapist I:
Requires a bachelor's degree in psychology, special education, or a
related field. Applicants without a bachelor's degree will be considered
if they have a high school diploma and have considerable experience
working with this population. In general, this position requires some
experience with children. This person implements behavioral intervention
plans with children, typically in a home setting. They receive ongoing
supervision, and attend meetings.
Behavior Therapist II:
The same requirements as Behavior Therapist I, but with the addition of at
least one year's experience with this population. This position also
requires the successful completion of an examination demonstrating
satisfactory attainment of the knowledge and skill set defined for this
position.
Senior therapist:
The same entry requirements as Behavior Therapist I, but with the addition
of at least two year's experience with this population. This position
requires an advanced level of knowledge in the field of applied behavior
analysis, as demonstrated by experience and the successful completion of
an examination. This person may supervise and train behavior therapists,
write reports, perform assessments, and recommend program changes to
supervisors.
Supervisor:
Must have either a master's degree in psychology, special education, or a
related field; OR a special education teaching credential. Must have at
least two years experience working with this population. This person
designs, coordinates, and modifies behavioral programs. The supervisor
also regularly supervises senior therapists and behavior therapists,
performs ongoing and initial assessments (including functional analyses),
and writes reports.
